BIOGRAPHY
Philadelphia native DJ Spontane is one of the major DJs and tastemakers in the Tri-State (PA/NJ/DE) area. History was made in 2019 with Spontane being the first African American to be a host on a major Latin radio station (LA Mega 105.7FM), which has over 2.3 million listeners. He had the honor of working on a major campaign with Nike, Jordan Brand, Adidas and Timberland through his partnership with Sneaker Villa in 2005. Spontane also has his own satellite radio show and podcast (The S&R Radio Show) that has a listening audience of over 80,000 globally. Aside from DJing and being a radio personality, he has also had roles in HBO’s Oz, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Biker Boys.
From touring with names like Lil Wayne, Swizz Beats, Eminem and Cassidy, Spontane has earned his respect in the Hip-Hop & Latin community and is currently Philly’s #1 resident DJ having residencies at several well-known nightclubs. DJing for thousands of people weekly he is a walking billboard for all fashion brands and sponsors he has been associated with.

Spontane is a part of the biggest DJ coalitions in the country called MP3 Waxx. These coalitions work with some the most successful record labels in the world, helping break records by some of the biggest recording artists. Spontane has also collaborated with the clothing brand Ethik on a basketball jersey and was recently given his own night with the UniverSoul Circus which was a sellout.
